Having talked about the Carnival Breeze last time, how about we explore the brand new Princess REGAL today?\u00a0 This beautiful ship had big publicity as \u201cThe Love Boat\u201d while we travel professionals were experiencing CruiseWorld 2014.\u00a0\u00a0 In fact I even got a quick snap of none other than Captain Stubing himself as he was starting an interview.\u00a0 I always wanted to be \u201cJulie\u201d growing up, so I guess this might be as close to it as possible in this day and age\u2026\u2026\u00a0 snapping a photo through a peep-hole and laughing at the fact the Captain looks quite different today.\u00a0 What do you think?<\/p>

The atrium on the REGAL is quite regal indeed!\u00a0\u00a0 And right away we caught a glimpse of the pool and Movies Under the Stars Screen where celebrities would be introduced for the 50-year celebration of Princess Cruises.<\/p>

Now are you ready to go explore this magnificent ship yourself?\u00a0\u00a0 Oh just wait!\u00a0 Take a look at these photos where you can walk out over the water.\u00a0 Yes, there is a little curved walkway that actually goes out over the ocean below.\u00a0 I must say it\u2019s a funny feeling thinking there is a piece of plexi-glass separating you and LOTS of water below!<\/p>

\"CLM<\/a>Ready for lunch?\u00a0 The Horizon Court is familiar to those who have cruised Princess before, but this one seems a bit more upscale.\u00a0 Note the dark wood and marble facing on the buffet and nice seating area.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 NOW are you ready to take off?<\/p>

\"wheelhouse\"<\/a>One can assume that a cruise is like an eating marathon!\u00a0 Now you know why some cruise lines have started designating certain areas as \u201chealthy lifestyle eating.\u201d\u00a0 I do understand that as I talked to \"gym\"<\/a>a lady just last week who had done her 164th<\/sup> cruise over Christmas.\u00a0 And she said it would be her 164th<\/sup> cruise on the same<\/strong> cruise line!\u00a0 Wow is all I can say.\u00a0 Personally I would top out at over 300 lbs. easily if I cruised that often.<\/p>

So now let\u2019s switch gears and get the kiddos situated on the ship so we can have some time in the more relaxed areas for adults.\u00a0 Did you know that Princess Cruises has been voted #1 for their children\u2019s program?\u00a0\u00a0 Well, that\u2019s because Princess offers more of an educational program than simply a way to charge cabin cards for a huge video arcade like some ships we have toured or cruised on.<\/p>

There are 3 main age groups:\u00a0 Pelicans, Shock Waves, and (named by vote of the older age group)\u00a0 Remix.<\/p>

They say a picture says a thousand words so here you go.\u00a0 First the younger ones:<\/p>

Next up is the Shockwaves Group:<\/p>

And last but not least check THIS out for the older kids\u2026\u00a0 their own private lounge deck and hot tub.<\/p>

\"teens1\"<\/a> \"teens2\"<\/a>Computer screens dominate one whole area while lounging in front of a big screen tv with others of similar age can enjoy age appropriate movies.\u00a0 The best part is ALL areas are totally supervised by young people trained to work with adolescents.\u00a0 The word out is \u201cWHEN ARE WE COMING BACK TO CRUISE AGAIN?<\/p>

OK, so what say we have a little relax time and check out the Serenity area Princess has become known for.\u00a0\u00a0 Is that cabanas we are seeing?\u00a0\u00a0 Absolutely YES!\u00a0 And how about the private areas for a nice massage?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Or a hot tub perhaps?\"FullSizeRender_2\"<\/a><\/p>

I guess now that you are that relaxed we may as well check out a nice suite, huh?\u00a0\u00a0 I could stand to stay in this cabin for a nice journey across the waters, how about you?\u00a0\u00a0 Or maybe even just a balcony cabin?<\/p>

Are you thinking the inside ones are getting to look pretty boring now?\u00a0 Yep.\u00a0 That\u2019s what happens to cruisers.\u00a0 Pretty soon you start saying \u201cBeen there, done that.\u201d\u00a0 Just show me one where I can BE on the water!<\/p>

OK, well let\u2019s have a look at the Pool and that will close our tour for today.\u00a0 Can you just imagine being a lounge chair here, eating freshly popped pop corn and having drinks while watching a movie or sports event \u2026..\u00a0 while moving on in the evening to your next port I might add?<\/p>
