Family science scholar Terry R. Baker has dedicated his life to teaching and writing about faith, family, and prophecy. Terry R. Baker taught in institutes for 40 years across California, Texas, and the University of Utah. As an LDS Church Education teacher, Terry R. Baker wrote college curriculum for the Church Educational System between 1995 and 2000. Terry R. Baker served as an Army Chaplain from 1970 to 2000, which included time in Vietnam and later with the National Guard. BYU Religion Instructor Terry R. Baker holds a PhD in Family Studies and Marriage and Family Counseling from BYU. Terry R. Baker is now retired and has continued teaching the Religion Institute and Church courses in the Salt Lake Valley since 2010. He has been recognized for his writings on the Book of Mormon, particularly for his clear teachings of prophecy on the Second Coming as an LDS author.
